Congratulation SanJoseIndian, What are you EB2 or EB3? It is interesting because some of us are still waiting for any news and some people are being processed quick????Can someone explain this?
 
EB2 Subst labor

Hello guys,

Mine was a subst labor in Eb2. the RFE was asking for multiple information :

1. my master's transcript (the transcript i submitted earlier somehow did not specific my masters was in computer science)
2. a clarification on why i suited the labor cert requirement.
included letter from my manager etc.

I am so glad this is over.. i cant wait to see the approval notice in my hand.
 
OCT-2004- RFE, NO NEWS (anyone?????)

Is there anyone out there with RD of Oct-04 that has not heard anything from INS yet? I applied my I-140 and I-485 in Oct-2004 and have not heard anything as of yet? PLEASE share your information.

My I-140's ND is 09/02/2004 and I haven't heard anything from USCIS (No RFE, No approvals yet).

EB3 own labor PD 12/2001
I-140 ND 09/02/2004 LUD 06/27/2005 (Semi-Concurrent)
I-485/AP/EAD ND 01/27/2005
AP/EAD approved in March 2005
 
After how many days does the status change after we send the RFE. Just would like to know whether they have received it in time or not since my due date was 28th July and my attorney sent it on 25th by Next day Fed Ex
 
I-140 Reply to an Inquiry initiated by Attorney

Hi,

Please see my signature. I have initiated an inquiry on my I-485, and got reply from them after 40 days saying that Name Check Pending with FBI.

Yesterday I got an email from USCIS as follows. I-140 inquiry was initiated by my attorney. Any idea about their reply. Will they reply the same Name Check Pending for I-140 inquiry too.

Just had a LUD for my 485 and my wife's 485 that they have received the RFE response. No LUD on 140 though :confused:
 
Response from USCIS about my I-140 status

I got the following response from USCIS about my I-140. Does anyone have idea what this cryptic message mean? ND for my I-140 is 09/02/2004 (EB3, semi-concurrent).

"The file has been requested from the file room. I will review the file and see
if I can make a decision on the case."

It means that he/she can not wipe his or her ass...For your information, this person has a PHD in sitting on his ass and do nothig...Unfortunately, we are dealing with a bunch of lazy people...they are not educated too...You see during the 60's there were a lot of Government Jobs that could not be filled ver easy...had I been here illigaly in 60's, I could have applied for and INS job and got it...tell you what they even would have given me my GC...
I had my interview a while back and my officer has very heavy accent, I could barely understand him...The guy gave me hard time because he is a forigner as well and knows how important it is for us to get the GC...

The bottom line, I think we should start taking some chineese or Spanish classes becuase there are a lot of places in the world that we can go and still be successful...

Folks,

I got this email from USCIS just now and I am confused. My case is EB3 and the priority date is April 2002. I believe it is stuck in retrogession. More interestingly this notice is for my daughter's case and God knows what happened to me and my wife.

Any idea what does this mean.

Yes. My I-140 was applied in Sep 2004 and still no news (no RFE, nor approval).
