Give the guy some warm welcome. It looks like he wants to do things NOW and I do not see why not. I do not know what the ACTION team is doing/planning but these are the times that people need guidance and some resources wrt

1: Congress. Sample letters, e-mails, contacts..
2: Press, Media. How to and the like.
3: Organisations
4: Companies, Professional associations, etc
5: Coordination of activities.

It would be also nice if the action team put together some kind of a "declaration/belief statement" wrt the problem and the lawsuit and be a watchdog over different voices and opinions and directions that may be hurting us instead of helping us.

I was wondering if we can make a list here in an excel sheet and focus on the litigation complaint. Rajeev has a two page document for public info which needs to be sent out to congress, news, organizaiton etc etc. for congress members we have already a software/website. but for news media, immigration pro organization, etc we dont have a list. can we make one please listing the Contacts, URL, Email, Phone, Fax etc.

You can start an excel spreadsheet here with the contacts you made. everybody can use it and update as we go. I put back some old threads with a lot of contacts..not organised but wait.

Updated PA's Senators and a Representative. Also check congress.gov for the senator's and representative's names.

Already sent to NY Times, NJ and AL state office holders.

Joyd come in action - people may follow you.

It just takes 10 minutes to gather all email IDs and another 5 minutes to send it.

I just copied and pasted the stuff from public_info.doc.

See people wait for a chance and here is one - would you let it go off that easily. Can't you spare 15 minutes?

When one sends something out, it is preferable to post the exact e-mail address or web-page for tracking and also for other people to use it.

Nice observation - check the Excel. It is all there. I thought we are plannning widest possible coverage.

For now, let us go with excel, whatever version you have. If someone cannot read it, we we can have them instal OpenOffice (Open Source, free software for Unix and Windows) reads Excel.
