Acquisition by another company

Current employer, with whom my TN status, decided to sell the division of their business to another company.

The new entity will be my employer even though the division where I work and my job remains the same.

My understanding is that I need to get a new TN for the new employer since my employer name changes.
Is that right or I don't need to do anything as the new employer's HR manager suggests!
 
Your HR is correct. In any acquisition, the new entity takes over all rights and obligations, including sponsorship.

When your TN is nearing expiry, just get a new one then.
