I have a question about the education qualification for the accountant TN... I know you need either a bachelors degree or a CPA, etc. Does the bachelors degree need to be explicitly a Bachelors of Accounting, or can it be a bachelors business degree with majors/concentrations in say accounting and finance?

Yes for sure. I have a MBA degree having some classes in Accounting and Finance. I'm having TN for 2 years.
You don't need a CPA or an exact degree of Accounting. But it will be great if the descriptions of the job in your employer's letter can match your courses.
