Is it ok for us to take our 4 months old kid in AOS interview

it may becomes problem if the IO does not like children. With young ones, what if he starts crying? Or "goes poop"?

Too much of a hassle. Have someone babysit and bring the birth certificate and some pictures?

U r right..........but I read couples have taken their kids along for marriage based cases and it helps them

Anything could be a problem. Babies cry and go poop (hint: put a diaper on the infant :) ). I always suggest that people do what makes them feel most comfortable. If that involves bringing the child, then do it.

a diaper will not contain/supress the odor/stench... And in those little cubicules/offices, a baby is a crying, puking, hungry pooping time bomb!

Ps: I do like babies ;)

We took our 1 yr old daughter with us, didn't plan to, but daycare called and said that she was too upset for mom. She was an absolute angel during the interview, no crying, pooping or other tantrums.

for marriage based cases, you are suppose to provide the Birth certificates of your kids. And yes, kids can be proof of a genuine marriage, but I don't think you need to bring the kid as a proof, just the Birth certificate and photos will do fine.

But in case your kid is like mine who can't be without her mom, bring her over!
If you have a lawyer, you can even ask 'em to babyseat. we did!

We r planning to take her.........will let u know our experience
