AC21 using EAD or H1-B transfer

Hello gurus,
I have my I-140 approved and pending 485 application ( > 180 days). I got a job offer with a new employer with same job title and responsibilities.
Should I use my EAD or get H1-B xferred to new employer?
My H1-B is stamped and valid till 2010.
I heard from some lawyers that if I xfer H1-B, then my existing GC application will get invalidated!
Is EAD only way to change to new employer? I personally prefer transferring H1-B.

That's nonsense, and no competent lawyer would say so. If it truly was an attorney, report them to their State Bar Association.

AC21 Clarifications

Thanks a lot for your clarification and help. Maybe paralegals were answering on behalf of their lawyers..I have no way of knowing that. I will now look for competent lawyer..but meanwhile this forum is great!.
