AC21 Usage

Guys,

Assuming that I140 has been approved and I485 has been pending for more than 6 months (concurrent filing), what are the exact documents needed to use AC21. Should I hire an attorney or I can do it myself ?

If AC21 is invoked, will the RD for I485 (concurrent filing) still be valid ? Or the date when AC21 invoked application is received by INS.

Also should any documents be retrieved from employer's den ?

I am not sure if someone had already posted a similar question. If so, could you be kind enough to point the appropriate link ?

- Can be done by self. But better to hire an attorney with experience as this is a new concept and has to be handled properly.

- Which employer's den, new or old. Either way, All documents that were required from the original employer.

I am not sure if someone had already posted a similar question.

Hi

I changed my jobs about 200 days after I filed my I-485. This was before Concurrent Filing was allowed. My RD was 11/2001 and I changed jobs in 06/2002. I did not send any documents to INS, but I changed my attorney in case I get an RFE.

My new attorney and I decided that we'll send all documents to INS if an RFE comes up.

I got my approval in April 2003, stamped in the same month and got my plastic card in May 2003.

So you can decide the way you want to go about it.
