AC21 Question

Hey Guys,
I am new to this group and i need your valuable suggestions regarding changing the job. I did concurrent filing for my I485/I140/I765 and i got my I140 and I765 approved and its now 180 days since i applied. My question is whether i can now use AC21 to move to another job. Will i have any problems from my current employer (i.e, cancelling my I140 etc.). Do my cureent employer have any hold on me? I will appreciate all your input.

If its > 180 days from RD of your 485 and 140 is approved then you can switch jobs using AC-21. Your employer can just watch u leaving them :)
 
Another school of thought suggests 180 days from date of I-140 approval...that's what I have heard in the past. Don't know which one is safer or has more chances of approval...maybe a quick question to the lawyer will get an answer.

I left my sponsoring employer about 60 days after I-140 approval (I-485 was pending way beyond 180 days), notified the USCIS about the job cahnge. Got approved without RFE.

THIS IS NOT TRUE . IT IS A MISCONCEPTION THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT 180 DAYS AFTER I140 APPROVAL. YOU CAN USE AC21 AFTER 180 DAYS FROM YOUR I485 ND. BUT IT IS SAFE IF YOUR I140 IS APPROVED BY THEN SINCE YOUR OLD EMPLOYER CAN WITHDRAW YOUR I140 BUT IF IT IS APPROVED AND IF IT 180 DAYS AFTER I495 ND THEN YOUR OK
 
Its 180 calendar days after 485 RD. you dont need to worry aboutt ND. You can check it in murthy.com

not only safe but its a must that 140 is approved.
