AC21 Portability related, but...

I applied for I140 on Oct 15, 2003 and applied for I485, AP, EAD on Dec 29,2003. My EAD was approved on Jan 26, 2004 and so my AP, I-140, I485 are all pending as of now. So it means, i have only completed around 60 days after filing as concurrent process(after I485 filing).

Right now, i am hearing news within my company that my entire group could be made redundant. So what will happen to me in this situation..? Since my EAD is already approved, will that help here, even though the 180 days of concurrent filing have not yet completed and my I-140 have not yet been approved.... What are my options...?

Twiddle your thumbs. However you can evince a promise from your HR as to not send termination info to USCIS or withdraw/cancel I140.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, they informed me that they are not going to withdraw or cancel my I-140 or my I485 applications. But, if there is a query from INS, then it becomes a difficult situation.

Also, i think by law they have to inform INS about my H1-B, so how do you think that would be linked with my I-140 approval process..? Will they be linked and be analyzed at the time of approval by the immigration officer assigned to my case?
