I have been working for the current employer for 4+ years and now my 485 has been pending for over 14 months due to FBI name check delay. I-140 was approved in June 2005. EB2. PD August 2002.
I've got bored of the current job. I've found a company that wants to do future employment support for me to invoke AC-21. My intention is I want to do something I like by myself, ie, I don't want to get employed until my I485 is approved. Is it OK? By the way, I don't mind whether I stay in the US before I485 is approved. Is this doable?
Also, I heard that I have to work for the future employer after I485 is approved. Is it true? If so, do I need to join the company right after I485 approval?
Should I inform INS of this future employment when I quit the current job? I am on H1 now. Also I got 2nd AP and EAD 3 months ago.
