Hi friends,

I want to use AC21 and move on to next job.
My pending status is with Texas service center. I have done first finger print and two EAD's and stuck in retrogression.

Is it going to create any issues, if i get a job in some other state which not
in Texas Service center juridiction. Will there be any issues with next EAD
if i am not Texas Service Center Juridiction.

Thanks

Will there by any issue with next finger printing

with respect to above thread will there be any finger printing issues?

Guys... I have the same questions.... Where should we send the AC21. to the center where 485 was applied or to the new job location which is diff. service center?

My lawyaer say it should be the new location since the new company falls under that service center.

Is that true?

To the same service center where your I-485 application is ... same for EAD

what sense does it make to send to a place where there is no file in your name?

I spoke to my Lawyer and he says it's all computerized and they have you info. in all the centers and AC21 (Amendment) should be sent to the center where the new company falls....

well Shaf... what you said makes sense to me also, I'll double check with him on this without pissing him off.

Are there any body who actually joined companies which does not fall under the sevice center where they had filled their 485?

ur attorney is wrong and shaf is right.

ac-21 should always be sent to uscis center where ur 485 is pending as its connected to ur 485.

Same here... 485 is pending in Nebraska, New job is in north east.
Attorny has already filed to the Vermont saying that Vermont Service Center has jurisdiction over the location of my current role.

Is there any rule/ published guideline on submitting AC21 paperwork???

1) Will Vermont return the letter as my file is not there?
2) Can I file AC21 myself to the Nebraska Service Center?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

No, your lawyer is wrong. Tell me this, how much information can be input into a computer? Not all documents can be recorded onto computer. Things like experience letter, pay stubs, tax returns, previous H1 copies need to be in a physical file.

When they transfer a case to local office, they actually send a physical file.

I read in several places that an AC21 case continues only in the service center where you filed 485.
