AC21 - Layoff

Hi guys please help,
1. When i change job on AC21 and company layoff me then what happen to my I485 application?
2. Lets say after one month of layoff i get new job with same job duties on AC21, is it okay with I485 application?

just making sure when they are approving your case, you must actively employed full time at the same field.
