AC21 job changes on my 7th year of H1?

Seeking advice from gurus:

Currently on my 7th year of H1. I485 pending for more than 1 years. EAD on hand. Want to change job.

My understanding is that I can either use EAD (losing H1) or ask the new company transfer H1 for me. So which way is better?

Furthermore, if use EAD, what kind of documents should I get before leaving the current company so that I can apply new EAD myself?

Do I need to file some documents to USCIS to indicate my intention to change employer? Any step by steps reference as to what forms I need to fill out to do it?

-------I-485 filing reciept (they may not give you copy of I-140 approval notice or LC, if they are ready to give better)

I checked today and found that attorney did not give me either the original 485 receipt or 140 approval notice (though I have the copies). Is it a problem? By the way, what forms should I used to apply for EAD? And what form should be used to notify USCIS that I changed job?

----if you have I-485 filing copy that is enough

----------------I-765, fee, 2 Photo, Clear copy of DL, Clear Copy of passport page that has photo,name, dob on it +copy of I-485 filing reciept
And what form should be used to notify USCIS that I changed job?
--No form, request letter, new employer letter with same/similar job duties+I-485 filing reciept copy

DL=Driving license
** many send Color copy of DL and color copy of Passport page that has Name, Photograph, DOB on it ( many got EAD approved with clear copy of DL and passport page and many got RFE to send Color copy of DL and passport page)

*** back side of Photographs write your Name, A# with pencil (A# is on I-485 filing reciept.

*File the EAD or AP NOW, the Fee is going to increase on July 30.
