AC21:if you don't send EVL letter, how can you renew EAD?

Some members (and even lawyers) suggest that upon changing jobs on EAD, you do not send Employment Evaluation Letter proactively to USCIS.

What happens if I join new employer and then few months later it is time to renew my EAD ? Are you forced to notify job change them to USCIS, or USCIS doesn't care that your previous EAD was done employed for someone different than current employer ?

Your eligibility for an EAD depends solely on having a pending I-485. An EAD is not linked to a particular employer, nor do you need to be employed at all to get an EAD.

On the EAD application form .. there is no column for employer's details .... ;)

You are damn right ! By reviewing the checklist I submitted to my second EAD renewal, it is clear I never sent anything regarding my employment ! Bring it on AC21.
If I come across a top-notch job offer again, at this time I will take it. Guaranteed.

Thank you !
