AC21:Do we need DOT code analysis ?

New lawyer I am about to hire to deal with my AC21 case tells me în addition to work on the AC21 letter, he can charge $500 to make sure the new job is technically the same than the old. Old job title is systems administrator and new job is senior systems engineer. Very similar job descriptions.

If the job is similar and I get letter from new employer, do I really need to worry with such DOT code ? Perhaps the lawyer would like to make extra bucks...

---------no need to worry if the new employer letter has same/similar job duties, dont worry about DOT code ( if possible keep the job duties same and job title same so that officer who looks at new Employer letter tries to match your LC that is in your file dont dig more, they only care what is on the letter they are not coming to your employer office to see what you do after I-485 approval and AC21 is used for future permanent job offer )
Perhaps the lawyer would like to make extra bucks...
