AC21 Change of Employer&Job Description???

Hi,
My I 485 is pending more than 1 year. I 140 already approved.
I am going to change my Employer. In my Labour Job Describtion
has been given as Programmer/Analyst with Description as System Developer. Mainly in Software Development.

The Job I am going to take up Now is As "Application System Enginner". The salary is more than What was mentioned in my labour. I will be performing software developement in my new Job.

Is there Any Conflict in Title of job position. Like Programmer/Analyst (System Developer) Vs Application System Enginner.

Plz give me some Suggestion.

the decision on "same or similar" job is subjective

work with your attorney with this one, prepare a sample letter (EVL - say in reply to a RFE) and convince BCIS that you still qualify under the "same or similar" job requirements of AC21. If your attorney is confident that BCIS will be convinced, then your move is somewhat safe.

At the end-of-the-day nobody really knows how BCIS interprets "same or similar". It depends on the adjudicating officer.
 
Although i do not feel it will create problem If you feel not comfortable to mention the title you can just ignore the title in your employment letter.
