Atlast it happened! After 21 months of anticipation, dissapointment, frustation, hope and finally its over!Received approval notices for the whole family after replying for RFE exactly a month ago and finishing the 2nd FP in the last week of July.

ND: Nov 01
Mar.02: 1st EAD, 1st FP
Had 2 APs - never used it.
Feb 03: IEAD
Changed jobs voluntarily- no layoff. Accepted another job with the same job title. Duties were the same too. Slightly higher pay than what was stated in the LC.
May 03: 2nd EAD
Filed AC21 with new attorney. Looks like it didn't make it the file.
June 03: Faxed enquiry. Received the standard reply within a week saying they were processing case around Nov 01. Also Attorney faxed request for 2nd FP.
End of June: The fax must have triggered something - RFE (3 paystubs, employee verification letter, 2 years W2s) and 2nd FP generated.
July 03: RFE sent with AC21 (again) and 2nd fingerprinting done (Oakland).
Approved date: Aug. 12
Looks like the new AC21 memo helped here as we got approved within days of the new memo. Also looks like if you are getting RFE/2nd FP, your chances of getting approved is high right now.
Although not very active, we used to browse regularly. Appreciate all the senior members hard work especially Pcee, Kashmir and Sillyman. Kashmir- Your threads were awsome! wish BCIS hired you to reduce backlogs.
Also the attorney for AC21 was not any of the famous ones - a small law firm and he charged a very reasonable fee for AC21.
This board is very useful - learnt many things here (like FP expires in 15 months). Thanks to many who shared their knowledge and for the comradery. Like one friend once said - it will come one day...you just have to wait -- and we wish the same to all
