AC21 Case approved.

Finally!!, my 485 is approved today.
This is my case history.
I moved from Boston to California after 180 days of my 485, but didn't not
inform USCIS about the move. But a month back I got an RFE for employment verification letter, paystatements, W2 and tax documents. I had to inform USCIS about the job/location change because of this RFE.
Once I submitted them I got approved.

Congratulations ! Manoj. Was your I-140 approved by the time you move ? If yes, after how many days I-140 approval did you move ?

Because, I'm also planning to use AC21, but some one told me that I have to wait 180 days after the I-140 approval. Is it true ? It's been more than 180 days since my I140/485 recipt date, but my 140 was approved in Sept. 2004. Can anyone tell me of I have to wait till March before I could use AC21.
 
It is 180 days after 485 filing but with an approved 140 (when does not matter for the approval of the 140).

This is not true .

Yes you can use Ac21 now. remember technically only when you inform CIS about the job change then your applciation is considered under AC 21. If you change the job and does not inform CIS then if your I-485 gets approved then you got your GC from your old employer (who filed LC) not from your new employer.

These are my dates.

140 RD date 11/02
485 RD date 12/02.
1st FP 01/03
2nd FP 06/04( I got the FP appointment at Boston, but
I took the FP in Oakland without any issue).

140 Approval date, 08/03.
I switched jobs in March 2004 moved from Boston to California.
Got RFE for 485 in Sep 04.
Send Response Nov 04, I informed about job change in the response.
485 Approval Dec 04.
