After 4 & 1/2 long years my case finally got approved on March 17 2004 - per BCIS website.
Here are my details :
My Original CO started AD for labor sometimes in Nov 99.
Applied at state level Labor - Apr 2000 - Priority date is April 25 2000.
Labor approved after RFE - Feb 2001.
I140 Approved - Jan 2002
I485 @ NSC
RCPT DT Feb 11 2002
NOTICE DT - Feb 19 2002
Changed JOB exactly after 180 days - Aug 19 2002
Did not inform INS abt the job change.
1st FP May 2002
2nd FP Dec 2003
RFE - Feb 13 2004 - Wife' medical, Employment verification.
Informed BCIS/INS abt the new employer. My title had changed from Prog/analyst to Sr. Prog Analyst. And intent to us AC21.
RFE - responce recd by INS March 3 2004
Approved - Online - March 17 2004
Waiting for approval in mail..
So guys finally wait is over..This group has been very helpful..thank you so much..though feel sad to see that this group is practically dead these days..

Those who want to know what employment letter I sent..it looked like this..very plain and simple..no legal mumbo-jumbo :

Mr. NNNNN is employed with us on Full time, permenant basis as [labor title] since
[joining date - mine was after 180 days]. Mr' annual salary [mine was more than Labor salary].
His primary job responsibilities are :
[ job descr 90% same as Labor]
