AC21 case LESS THAN180 days - Approved!

Folks!

My I-485 application has been approved on 10/09.
RD:10/02/2001
ND:11/21/2001
AD:10/09/2002

Highlights ----- Approved without an RFE ------

I was laid off less than 2 months after applying for I-485.

I hope this info would be useful for those who are in a similar phase of life as me. I really hope it eases your mind :)

Nope!!

I did not notify INS about invoking AC21. I guess they must have found out anyway because I applied for H1-B transfer. They do their homework ;)

I would like to add my thoughts here. Be patient and let things take its own course.(We have no control over the ways of INS) There is no use beating yourself for the amount of time INS takes to process your case.

'It will happen, when it happens'. In the meantime enjoy the goodness of life! Easier said than done, but it is do-able. :)
