Hi,

My I-140 was approved 20 months
ago. My I-485 was files 18 months
ago at VSC, and is still pending.

If I use AC21 and switch jobs,
but I move states, i.e. move
from MA to Georgia, will
this jeapordize I-485 approval?
Will I-485 be transferred
to TSC?

Thanks.

P.S. Is it worth complaining to
Senator/Congressman about I-485
to generate case inquiry? I am
seeing very few May 2002 approvals,
but on average, I am seeing that
VSC is taking 20-23 months to
process I-485.

AC21

Hi Boston_RIR

I was asking the same question to my attorney. He was saying
that it could be positive or negative. One of his clients moved
from Texas to Boston and his I-485 was pending for more than
a year. When he requested for a change of Service Center they
immediately approved his I-485.
Other scenario is that while transfering your case to other center
it might get delayed as well. One has to be very careful while
doing so.

Using AC21 , one can move anywhere in US by sticking to AC 21 rules (same or similar job duties n same or more prevailing wage).

Unfortunately if you case transfered to local (GA), Adds more dealy to processing time (esp. GA is very slow in processing transferred cases). Still, u can check ur luck :D.
