AC21 and Job Title

How does the job title affect the AC21 rule?

My labor certification was filled with my title as Associate System Engineer. I got laid off few weeks ago and have found a new position in a different company. I'm hired as a Senior Consultant doing the same kind of a job. Will this raise a red flag?

How Job description?

If it is more or less same then there is no problem. You can allways claim that you got a better job. A career promotion sort of thing.
 
career promotion is not a good idea. See the SOC definition of your job. If your job can be a consulting job (i.e. you still perform system engg. job in the name of consultant) then you are fine.
