AC21 and Job Location. Does it matter?

I am looking for a job in my field. There are very few in my city but quite a few in surrounding states. The type of job is same or very similar to the one defined in my LC. The questions are,

1. How far is consider local? 50 miles or 100 miles?

2. What if I take up a job 500 miles from the place where my LC was filed (and where I worked all this time)? Is it valid?

Please help.

1. Metro areas- It all depends on the metro area. If you dont live near a metro area (for example- washignton DC and suburbs) then 50 mile might not be considered local. But, AC21 does not require you to get the new job in "local"..

2. Yes.

So theoritically, can I change job in ANY CORNER of US as long as my job is similar or same?
