What are the implications if you have already been transfered for interview, then decide to switch jobs (or laid off) as the the interview schedule can take years?
Any insight will be helpful...thanks.

The interview seems to be scheduled around 6 months after the transfer. Of course past performance does not guarantee future behavior.

You need a job at the time of the interview. From what I have seen you need an employment letter, it is not specified that it needs to be from the original sponsoring company.

Good luck!

Would you need anything from the original sponsoring company? For example a letter indicating that they will rehire your if the company can afford to do so...etc.

According to my understanding the sponsoring employer is out of the picture after 180 days. I did not change jobs though, so I did not research this issue too much. My lawyer will not comment on AC-21.
