AC21 and EAD Extension

Hello folks,

I'm kind of intrigued with the whole AC21 procedure and desperately need your feedback.
Suppose I take up the new job keeping in mind all the AC21 portability requirements.
When do you think would be the right time to notify USCIS about it? I read somewhere on the forum that the guy actually enclosed his 2 paystubs from the new company. In that case I guess it would be after a month, right!
We are suppose to periodically extend the EAD right? As it is valid only for a year.
Can someone please highlight the extension procedure for EAD, what documents are required and what role does the new company play in doing so.

Thank you all so much.

Regards,
Beachcomber

Some people inform USCIS of the job change right away, some after some time (2 months or so), some wait until USICS sends a RFE and still other never inform and get approved as is. SO it is up to you what you want to do. Looking at your post it seems you have read about AC21 and know how and what to send.

IMO, employer has not much role in extending your EAD. Read the EAD/AP sticky thread to know the documents required etc.
