Ac140 documents review time frame

My lawyers have sent packet 3 with AC -140 docs to chennai consulate on 6th June.But we haven't received any response till now.Though my lawyer say,consulate take about 2-3 weeks of time.But I anxious to know the result ASAP.I have emailed them,but still no resp.Anyone has information about review time frame at chennai or mumbai consulate? Should I call them ?

Chennai does not accept AC140 applications and in the past two and a half years browsing this forum, I have not seen a single soul achieve success via AC 140. May be your luck will turn the tide! Keep the forum posted of your details. Good luck again; you will need it!;)

I too read a lot about chennai consulate refusal on AC-140 petions.My lawyer asked chennai consulate before preparing AC-140.And they responded may,if my circumstances and document s meet their criteria.Right now,I'm working in india for the same company,got H1b visa,for same job in the same company,got LCA (RIR) and I-140 approved AOS,also resident of chennai consular district. So I have no go otherthan I-824 approved or AC-140 routes.Morever, I-824 at CSC is taking morethan a year to get approved.Are these not sufficient to prove the hardship?

I have found a person,not a member of this forum,who recently got his GC through AC-140.His lawyer was able to convince the chennai consular officer on his case.Anyways,did anybody tried sending docs to this consulate?On what grounds did they refuse?Do you have their contacts?Please forward them to me.

For AC140 and Chennai; I do not know of any one that has been successful at Chennai with AC140. The response your attorney has received from Chennai is the standard response posted on their website for AC140. Update us if your request is approved. Good luck.;)
