AC-I140 / CP question

Hello Members,
I have following questions on AC-I140 / CP

a) How soon one can apply for AC-I140 after filing for 485
b) How long does it takes for consulate (Mumbai) to process such application and give interview date.
c) If consulate denies AC-I140 request can one still come back on H1 and continue AOS.
d) Is it possible to switch employer after CP interview / stamping or does 180 days rule applies here also.

Yes, I did see that and I guess it will not affect CP / AC-140 since the approval of I140 is must of the CP. Now the question is, would it also speed up receiving actual pastic card process or would it continue to crawl at turtles pace where we have for 1+ year. If so, people will still opt for CP especially those who cant wait for so long.
