Hi,

My i-140 was approved in August 2003, and the 1-485 is pending from Nov 2002 (the application was filed concurrently).

About 10 days ago, shortly after my second FP, my LUD changed to show that our case was trasnferred to the San Jose office for interview.

Just this month, I changed jobs, similar job description/salary as LC.

1) Do I file an AC-21 now, or wait for the interview?

2) I had to drop my attorney because he could not handle an RFE/NOID situation for my i-140 effectively. The attorney who took over, and incidentally did a great job with that, wants $1000 for the AC-21. Is that the going rate?

3) Fyi, I also plan to take this attorney to the interview, just in case.

Thanks in advance.

---- if you or your lawyer has recieved theI-485 transfer notice then it takes 10-15 days to reach the file at local office, once you get Interview date notice then you can send AC21 letter to be attached with your I-485 file OR take it when you go for Interview

------- many lawyers ask $750 to 1500 and many send AC21 letter directly without help of any lawyer
3) Fyi, I also plan to take this attorney to the interview, just in case.
----- make a deal to prepare AC21 letter and give at Interview time and take the lawyer if you wish ask him full charge to Invoke AC21+ attend Interview at local USCIS office
Thanks in advance.
