About to file i485 but i may be changing my address soon

Which address should i put on the form? My old address or the one where i will be by the end of this month (sept).

My wife (who is the USC) and I are in the process of purchasing a new house and we close on Sept 30th. However i need to get my process started ASAP.

I think it will be ok to put your new address

it will save you some hassle later.

It will probably take a good couple of weeks for anything to come back

but when you send it just write your old address on the return receipt.

That will come back within a week.

but go ahead and send the ar-11 now

Decision on the address

This is fridayborn1. It'll be very wise to use your old address since you'll have the option of address forwarding through your old post office. The 2nd option is to wait till you finally moved to your new address, however, my best bet is to use your old address since changing address through ins is very easy. I was able to change my address 4times without any difficulties
