Hi all...so far I have read many threads here and it seems to be helpful. So here I am hoping that someone or the other will reply back with the answer for the question I have on my mind. Any help will be appreciated. I was in the US for 1.5 years on J1 visa. I got married there with a LPR and then applied for I-130 .In due course of time, I had applied for a J1 waiver but it didnt come to be as long as I was there so had to return back to India. I am still in INDIA.It got approved while I was in India. NOw I recently saw that my I-130 is approved as well as my spouse interview for USC on the first week of March. NOw my question is...is it ok if my spouse appliesfor I-485 as soon as my spousebecomes a US citizen? If so.how long will it take for me to get my green card? PLease help.
