Hi,
My Rd, ND are of Oct '02. Did my FP2 in July '04. There has just been an LUD change for FP2 but no activity after that..
Have not been issued an RFE or name check. Just sitting and waiting for some activity here..
1) So does it make any sense for us to go at VSC (walk-in) and tell them to check our files...
If yes, what exactly should we tell the officers there..ie the reason for coming?
Plus what docs. should we carry??
Pls. refer to link-

2) Is there any other way for us to expediate the process? ie contacting local congressmen/senator... I am not very aware of the procedure. Could anyone pls. explain or site a link...?
The current processing date is 26th Aug, so can I still contact someone or do something to expediate the process (My Rd, ND is Oct 02) or do I have to wait for the processing date to change to Oct 02?
Thanks!!

I contacted Senator Kennedy's office but got the standard answer that once a request has been made from the office, USCIS has 30 days to respond. I was told that the inquiry would be made yesterday...trusting them on that.
Hope that helps...
