About Parents Visa

Hi,

My parents are going to the visa interview in May. My father will be retiring in April and he is going to the visa interview in may. He might not have any documents as for the proof of his pension. Will that be a problem at all ?

As my mother is working too she will be able to produce the supporting doccuments from her employer.

Emergency Situation

Hello All,

I am new to this portal. My father passed away on yesterday and my mother is all alone here in India. Me and my brother are both permanent residents of United States. We want to take my mother along with us on B-2 visa. Can please some one let me know, when is the earliest time available for appointment in Chennai Consulate? The system is not allowing to check the availabilty date w/o the id no.

Please help. Also, let me know if any special permission is given by the consulate in such circumstance?
