about OPT

hi,

i guess i'll start from the very beginning. I came to the US in 1998 on an F1 visa. I went to school for 4 years and got a bachelor's degree. Soon after that I got my OPT for a year, at the end of which I decided to go back to school, but I went for another bachelor's. Now back then my DSO told me that I could once again apply for OPT at the end of my second degree. Apparently she was wrong, cause my DSO has changed since then and he told me that I can't do that, and I can apply for additional OPT for evey higher level of education that I get.
I wanted to know if there is anything I can do , cause even if I do get a job before I graduate will I be able to take it, cause I will be done with school in December.
 
She/He is Correct. You cannot avail another OPT with another Bachelors.
You need todo a Masters to get another OPT. You best shot is to ask the company to do a H1. And again I think you need to get that H1 in the general Quota and not from MS/PHD quota.(I am not quite sure abt this though).
 
Yup 20K quota is only for Masters.
