About OPT , in dilemma pls reply

I have a question about applying for OPT.I am finishing my Masters in August, i had started another masters in january.But i am not sure about it now.My I-20 was extended to cover the second masters as well.

My question is , will i be able to apply for OPT for my first masters and discontinue the second.or will i have to finish both before i can apply for OPT.

you can apply for OPT for your second master before you even complete it. It's a nice thing for graduate students - precompletion OPT. You cannot go to school full-time on it, and you cannot transfer to another program - you will forfeit it this way.
