I am applying as dependent with my wife as primary applicant for edv 2014.But recently i suffered from typhoid fever (salmonella typhi)and i am using the anti biotics. Will this effect my medical examination to be conducted in following months. What to do if it matters.please help me.

For sure it always helps to bring to the medical check for immigration any type of paper -previous medical records which describes the illness (in this case typhoid fewer) and what was the course of treatment, obtain it from the doctor who was treating for the illness

They will record this in the new medical sheet. You can also ask for a duplicate of the vaccination record (it comes in handy later on in the US)

i mean do they identify whether i have got typhoid or not?

Not sure, but the important thing will be whether or not you're still contagious (if you're being treated I assume you won't be by the time you get your medical). It is contagious diseases they're concerned about.

But don't lie at your medical. If you get caught out lying at any stage of the process, you'll almost certainly be denied your visa.
