About info on Rupnet.

Hi Guys,

The users on Rupnet are totally different from the users on this portal. I think on rupnet, someone is posting fake approvals, just to keep the website alive.

Do you guys suggest that the info is true. Can anyone assertain that the info is correct, in any arbitrary mannner ? Please advise.

You are wrong. The rupnet is as reliable as this forum. There might be a few fake approvals there just as we see some fake approvals in this forum (from the likes of greenland, 1amShantanuB etc).
Also rupnet attracts people who does not visit this forum. I know this from a couple of friends who posted their approvals in rupnet but never visited this forum.

I have seen one or two entries before on rupnet which doesn't
make any sense. Other than that rupnet data looks ok.We do
see people posting here the same approvals most of the time.If
someone is doing this to keep rupnet alive why only VSC and not
other centers?

My Id in Portal is diff then in Rupnet. that doesnot mean all are fake..
to me Rupnet is more reliable than this Portal in case of data and information.

Its very obvious that user might have diff user names at diff places.

How can you assume the data is fake? If you think it is invalid for some reason then its up to you not to look at it. Overall data presented in rupnet is accepted by most of the ppl here in forum and it gives hell lot of idea where we stand in terms of BCIS processing. Greaty-k work is really appreciated by everyone for his free service to this immigration community specially all 485 applicants. Atleast try to be optimistic and appreciate the other people's work. Hope you got it.:mad:
 
There are cases where people have created duplicated ID since they forgot the password for the first one.

This results in wrong %s in some of the reports.

The approvals on rupnet are as reliable or not as on this site.

Non of these sites have any cross validation..

you either take it at face value or ...

One other thing to be noted is that there are other chat forums whose users also post on rupnet.

So you may see an approval on rupnet but not here.

I am as much worried about the current situation as all of you. If you all think that the data posted is right, that is enough of a reassurance.

Sam99 – I did not talk about Greatk’s work or his portal, I was talking about the data, which has nothing to do with Greatk.

Just like you, me and every body in this forum going through the same phase. Frist time in my life so much frustrated. Some times when you see fake approval you feel like disgusted. That is normal.

Some people don't understand that and put fake approvals to create false alarms.

What I have seen is Most of the rupnet and approvals are accurate.
 
I think, most of the approvals are correct. One reason we don't see the same users in this thread is because lot of folks use different user names.

Rupnet is a very good sample

the fake ones if any are drowned out by the real cases
if you know statistics you will be able to use rupnet to predict your approval date (rupnet has started that feature recently) i have used it and in my case my approval came almost a month before.

for any given day if there are 1000, 485 receipts then rupnet may have on an average 20 per day. rupnet also starts getting a bigger sample as the approval dates for that month start coming closer.

If you dont need emotional support or the community feeling and you are math or science oriented person then you can just visit rupnet and learn a lot . just looking at the data you can learn so much that it makes you wonder why we dont have statistics like this on everything (car accident and death rates, profession and cause of death, spouse data and marriage success/failure rates and so on.

a small problem in rupnet is that some people do not bother to update once approval is done . these are selfish free riders and you can discount these cases looking at the past months (generally 5 %)

if you want the entire poulation then join the scanning project started by Kashmir. and if it is added to a database it is more definitive than even the AILA or the BCIS officers on telephones. Rememeber DATA never falters but people can

lastly, historical analysis suggests that the denial rate is less than one percent so it is just a matter of time dont get lost in the guess work as your approval is almost assured if we were to belive that past is any indicator of future!.
