Code 3
Code 3 is essentially code1+code2. Besides your finger print they will take your picture and signature. This picture will eventually go on your GC.
Someone once said, usually you get Code3 during the end of the process but I have seen some who got code3 first and then code1 on their last FP.
Anyways, we don't really know how USICS works.

hi, I just received the finger print notice 2 days ago for code 3.
My 485 and 140 are still pending, with a RD of 05/2007 and PD of 06/2002.
Could anyone tell me why should I get code 3 instead of code 1 or 2 as some other people got? Was it a good sign?

That way your picture is ready if/when your case is approved.
You will also get Code 1 FP approx every 15 months till your case is approved. (Code1 is just 10 finger FP). The reason you see more code 1 is that the 10 finger fp expires in 15 months whereas your photo/index FP remains valid once taken (which is code 2)
