All my papers are with attorney. All she need to do is send it to INS. Now my company says it is no more processing green cards. Not going to file for I-485 whether i am working / laid off. What are oher options. Please help me.
I-485 is supposed to be filed by the candidate and not by the company. So all you need from the company is an employment letter (your lawyer will be able to mention the specific format). You might need the approval notice for I-140 (I\'m not sure)
So talk to the lawyer and see if he can file I-485 for you if you pay his fees. Otherwise you can hire another attorney and get it done.
