I'm 18 now,and i'm in US . I'm a Green card Holder. Is there anyway i can bring my gf here and marry her ?She and I have to be fiance of each other in her home country before she gets here ? What if the legal age to marry in her home country for female is 20 ? I tend to have the wed in US . How many years will it take ? Plus, i'm going to go to college and i probably have to move from state to state , but it won't be so frequent. Do i have to have income or any limited amount of money in bank or house ? (What if i just rent room and don't have a house ).Thank in advance.

The only way you will be able to bring her over is if you are both married (there is no visa available for fiances of GC holders- she will need to be your spouse). As you are only a GC holder, then even when you marry, your then wife will still need to wait 4-6 years until she is able to come over. Once you become a citizen however (how long until you are eligible to file for citizenship?) the wait time is reduced to 8-12 months.

Then you can't get married in her home country- you will need to marry elsewhere.

You need to have an annual income that is 125% above the poverty level (Im sure how much that amounts to, but I believe it is around $18,000) in order to meet the requirements of her affidavit of support. If you do not meet this or have assets that can be used to contribute to it, then you will need to get a joint sponsor.

So if i wait until i'm a citizen(in next 4 years) then marry her in her home country and file the form , the wait time will be just a year ?(If so,great).I think that way is better ,do you think so ?
Can i substitute the annual income by a balance in bank ? Or it must be annual income ? Can i use somebody's income ( person i know) with their agreement to do that ? i have to go to college or university so that's probably she can't stay with me in the same place in 5 years ,as i know, if she's not be with me in the same address or place in 5 years after she comes to US,the gov will expel her cos they think our marriage is fake ,is that right ?Maybe she has to be with my parent in CA and i go to some states else to go to university. With my situation,do you know any way else faster to bring her here.I just want to bring her here as soon as possible.I'm so grateful to you, i know that i'm asking too much ,don't know how to thank you except these appreciations .

That seems about right.

You can use personal assets, though when doing so, you need to have more than the 125% above national poverty. I 'think' its something like 3x the amount, so if the minimum annual income is $18,000, but you want to use assets then you would need to prove that you have $54,000 (I could be wrong on the exact figure, but thats the jist of it).

Yes! This is the joint sponsor I mentioned in my previous post to you.

Im not sure exactly how this is looked upon by USCIS. So I'll let someone else answer this question.

If you want to bring her over, then the quickest way is the option that I have already described to you. If she can qualify for her own visa (ie, work sponsorship, student visa, investment visa etc) then she may be able to get over quicker.
