Hi guys and ladies.

I got a fast question regarding "evidence" Now. when I send my N-400 application. i am going to submit some evidence with it. but the question is, Do u know how many months of evidence are required to be send? Like the past 3 months of evidence or older ones?
i was told the older the better, is this true. i mean i dont have any problem but just to make sure what i am doing is right,

Thanks alot for help.

Hi, i am sending my N-400 for the citizenship. and i would like to submit some evidence in there, like, bills. bank statments. car insurance. something like that. my question is, do i have to submit old bills or the newest ones. oh by the way, i am applying on a 3 years rule,

Thanks alot,

You don't have to send any of these for a N-400 filing. They will send you a list of things that they will like to bring with you at the interview on a YL. They may even want you to bring your spouse with you, there's no telling it all depends on the DO and the officer, he/she will determine what he/she would like to see to satisfy him/her to verify a valid marriage between the applicant living with the USC spouse.

If your intention is to send in copies of bills and bank statements with N-400 since it's presumed you have broken continuous residency, then you would only need to send in evidence for the statutory period in question (loast 3 years).
