About degree completion before filing for H1B

Hello eveyone,

I am a Ph.D. student and expect to graduate sometime in June-July this year.
I have a job offer from a company. Can you guys please advice if it is better to get the degree before I apply for the H1B or apply for it right away?
Many thanks. Any advice will be much appreciated.

P.S. I am currently applying for my OPT.

If a company is offereing a job you can apply through your masters degree. Even if you apply for H-1B now the petition is going to approve from Octorber 1st. you can finish your degree in june or july. So you can go ahead with your job offer.

But the position requires a Ph.D. So, I hope that the application will not be rejected on grounds that I do not YET have the degree.

If the position requires a Ph.D, you will not get qualified for this position. So there is a chances for reject the petition.
