Can any body tell me how to check my GC status?

I'm trying this but for now didn't have luck. I don't have receipt number but application number and nothing happed when I put this.

Can you tell me what number I should put into AVM, I tried both
application number (on feft hand side) and INS A# (on right hand side). I don't have idea where is receipt number. And I am always transfered to customer service after I put one of this nimber.
I guess I need to put only numbers not letters...

HI,

You need to put in ur receipt number which starts something like

EAC-02-***-5****

You can get this number from I-485 receipt.

Hi,


Your receipt Number will allways be on the left side of your letter. below that you will find your Receipt Date(RD) and below that U will find Notice date(ND)

so the receipt number will have a number which starts with EAC so just call INS and u will hear a recording continue pressing 1,1 until u hear
Please enter the 13 character eac number

then type the Receipt number and u will know the status of u'r case.

It's that simple and let us know if you got it right.
