About 2 months waiting for the oath letter...

I already had my interview and I am waiting for my oath letter. Two months passed and up till now I haven't received it.

I called to customer service and they told me that there is a period of time of 90 days after the interview to receive the letter. The case status online doesn't show updated information.

Should I wait 90 days to receive the letter? or it's better to make an infopass appointment before and go in person to talk with an inmigration officer.

Please, if somebody has a similar situation I would appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks.

It is actually 120 days. You should make an InfoPass about 90 days after your interview if you still have not heard anything from USCIS.

At the conclusion of the interview you should have been given form N-652 showing the interview results. Which box was checked there, "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval" or "A decision cannot yet be made about your application"?

Do you have any complicating factors in your case? If so, the IO may need to
consult their supervisor and their supervisor may need to consult USCIS lawyers and this can take time (the net time they spend on yoru case is negligible but it take time for one person to send request to another and take time for another to answer)

After my interview the IO gave me the N652 saying Congratulations, your application has been recommended for approval.

No, I didn't have complicating factors in my case. I passed the english and history test and I had a good interview with the IO who told me to wait for the oath letter and was going to look the nearest location to take the oath. I was checking also the online status but it doesn't show the updated information.
I am waitng about 2 months and up till now nothing.

You should make an infopass. I don't think you have anything to worry about
but an infomass appointment can make you feel easy because you can tell
that it is not that the oath letter is lost in mail somewhere

Finally it arrived!

I was going to make an Infopass appointment to see what was going on with my case, when I checked today my mail box. It was my oath letter after waiting 2 months from my interview.

I am happy.

Thank you to all of you for taking the time to answer to me.

I would take an Infopass appointment in your situation. Tell the officer that you are concerned about the oath latter and want to make sure it wasn't lost in the mail or anything. Oath letters come from the DO. So I am assuming that you get a standard answer if you call the 800 number. I just don't know why the agency cannot hire a guy at a regional office level with a direct phone number who can just log in, see the status and help the customers?
