abci, milka, ILOVESAT, 99dear99 - lets track our RFEs

Had my senator\'s office call INS

They got the same standard reply that they have received required papers on 10/29 , adjucating officer got papers on 10/30 and will take 30-45 days. Senator\'s off. asked me to call them after 45 days.
 
abci - As per Lara Croft, after Sep 11th , INS is sending RFE notices to both lawyers and applicants

HAve u heard anything about this from anyone else?

I saw some cases where both lawyer and applicant received.

Many of us in this thread got RFE after september 11nth and only our lawyers got it.

I received a copy and original went to attorney

The letter i received was the same/similar to one sent to Attorney. The color of the document was Blue. When I called the Attorney, they said, they also got it the same day and verified that the contents were same.

That all Dec RFE cases (for unfortunate ones like us) would go to the same IIO?
After seeing Milka\'s approval..i have a small glimmer of hope...but then...

140 approved for AOS
RD 11/23/00, ND 12/12/00
FP 5/01
RFE issued on 10/15/01, Received on 10/22/01, Replied on 10/23/01
RFE for passport copy (me and wife), last 2 years W2 and tax returns.
Provided INS tax transcripts for returns as returns were filled electronically so didn\'t had any copies.
AVM updated for RFE receipt on 11/1/01
Approved on 11/8/01 (yesterday) talked to IIO and she told me.
AVM updated today (11/9/01)

It was a pretty straight forward case. One H1 then one EAD, same company throughout. It took 2 years and one month (approx) for the whole process.

Was lucky to have a good lawyer and good (desi - but big) company who never lied to me about my fillings.

I wish to thank my lawyer, company, and everyone on this wonderful board for all their support. I will be arround to answer any questions.

Yes guys..time to say bye to you all. I am doomed. I wish others atleast are lucky

I got transfered to Arlington and have lost all hopes of getting my green card.
