I am currently in Canada on a visitors visa that doesnt allow me to work, I am getting married in May this year to my long-term fiance of 4 years (Canadian citizen). After we receive our marriage certificate and I have amended my British passport we are applying for my PR, instead of just applying for an extension of my stay in May is there any way I can apply for a work permit instead?
