Hi !
A quick question! My husband has H1 visa and I am on H4. Do we have an A#? or do we just have our social security no.? or are both the same?:confused:

Hello,
If you I-140 dont get approved, you both dont have A#. However You both have I-94#. That will work where you need to use A# usually. You ill see INS always ask for A#/I-94# in their forms.

...and you can leave the A# box blank in your I-485 - you will be assigned one when your application is logged on the system. Your I-485 receipt would have your A#.
