A Unique Situation

Hello,

I have an EAD and am waiting for 485 approval. My spouse also has EAD thru my sponsoring company. If I get laid off (after 180 days), can my spouse use the EAD to continue his employment, even if I don\'t work?

Can we both renew our EADs then, if 485 is not approved by the time the EAD expires?

Appreciate any help.

Yes. Your spouse can still continue his employment on the EAD even after you are laid off.
