This is I have to say: during the good time in USA, computer professionals made unimaginable and unrealistic amount of money and opportunity in this country then any other profession. They applied LC in RIR category and got approval quickly. Now those golden days seems to gone. So the reality is knocking the door now. Thousands of lay offs, firing made LC filing vulnerable in computer related technology. RIR category only for hot and demanding proffesion in USA. Now everybody knows computer field is no more a hot and demanding job (enough US residents candidates are available now). This is a good news for other types of professionals though(chemist, pharmacist, doctor, microbiologist etc). I was always in dilemma how these so called computer guy who got H-1B directly from India without having any education in USA. On the contrary, other professionals has to do either their masters in USA or state licensure just to get a job with H-1B. What a nightmare for other professionals. I always blame myself why I didn\'t study computer instead of pharmacy. Now it looks like I have a better, stable profession then glittering computer.
