Hi there,
I am in very strange situation,I applied for my ssn (social security number) as I changed my visa status from H-4 to H-1,It has been 3 months and still my case is pending with immigration department.today when I called SSA they said that my case is flaged and under investigation.
what does it mean ?
I will be happy to get some advice.

You mean pending with social security office? Your name might have triggered a match from the watch list. They will take a little longer time that is all.
