Hi, can someone please tell me what all documents are needed in order to get an H1-B visa transferred?
My employer's lawyer sent me a pdf version of the H1-B receipt after a few days of filing my H1-B petition. On the pdf copy, on the top right hand corner it says "I-797, Notice of Action", and under the description I have the receipt number and Case type as I129. When I recently tracked on the USCIS website using my receipt number, I came to know that my H1-B was approved, and a notice was sent to the lawyer.
Now in the future, if I want to get my H1-B transferred to some other employer, will I need that notice of approval from the lawyer, or will the pdf receipt that I have be sufficient. Also, do I need to get the original receipt, or the pdf copy should be fine.
I will really appreciate if someone can answer this question, as it will be of real help.
Thanks..!!
